He has more than 23years experience as a Hydrographic and Land Surveyor at Sri Lanka Ports Authority. He is a Diploma holder of the Institute of Survey & Mapping conducted under the guidance of Survey Department of Sri Lanka. He has been trained in Hydrographic Survey at Maritime Safety Agency in Japan. He is Member of the Survey Institute of Sri Lanka and is a Licensed Surveyor and Leveler.
